
If you are running out of your usual medicines, you can order another prescription from the surgery using various methods. Please be aware that the surgery requires at least 48 hours' notice before collection. If you are requesting medication that you do not regularly use, it make take longer than this for your prescription to be processed.
Internet: You can now order your prescriptions online, using EMIS Access. This is a secure internet service designed specifically for GP surgeries. You will first need to register for EMIS Access at the surgery, where you will be given a registration form which will include a PIN and ID number. You will need to bring a valid form of identification with you in order to register for EMIS Access.

In person: You can come in to the surgery in person to drop off your request. You should speak to the receptionist in the reception booth regarding this.
Post: Send a stamped addressed envelope together with your prescription request and your prescription will be posted to you once completed. You can download a prescription request form by clicking here.
Telephone:If you are unable to request your prescription via any of the above methods, you can also telephone the surgery after 1pm on 01524 32622.
To maintain a high quality of service, the doctors would like all patients on regular medication to be reviewed from time to time. You may be asked to attend the surgery periodically to see a doctor or nurse for review.
